The location was ideal for visitors new to the area as it was only 900 meters from the train station.

sincerely, it was a very pleasant stay for short freiburg visit. location: the hotel was just next door to the center and the railway station, train station and tram and a restaurant. cafeteria cafe mozart located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

Attractive place to stay with more than adequate breakfasts. Excellent and fantastic location with parking nearby...

The double room with a balcony in this place was in a fantastic location, super close to the city center, restaurants, cafes, shops, railway station.

My single room was modern, comfortable, clean and a decent size with a roomy shower and, an unexpected bonus, a proper balcony with room to sit at a table. With the free wi-fi I could choose to work either at the small desk space or out on the balcony. There was plenty of choice in the breakfast buffet and my request for de-caff coffee was no problem at all. In fact the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay, it was a great base for my business trip at one of Freiburg's universities, and very convenient for the old town, the shops and most importantly for the main station and local public transport too.

The staff was really helpful and very kind.The wifi worked perfectly in the room. The location was perfect, close to the center, but in a quiet side street.The breakfast was abundant,great variety and quality of everything.

Parking is a problem, you have to pay for it, though the price is not very high per day.

The breakfast here is amazing with a variety of cheeses and boiled eggs and the staff is incredibly nice and friendly.

The location here is wonderful, right near the downtown area, and the breakfast options, including nuts and cheeses, were more than enough and enjoyable.

Could use a lift and a new computer

This charming, traditional hotel is situated very close to the station but in a quiet street. My room was very comfortable and spacious for a single, and it had a balcony and a big modern bathroom. The bedroom could easily have been made into a double, but instead there was a sofa and table, making it more like a sitting room.

The dining room is a little cramped when all the tables are occupied, but this is compensated by a very nice breakfast.

The bed was good, the bathroom was clean, and the room had coffee/tea making machines, a multi-channel TV, and a study table. the breakfast was more than adequate and delicious, offering boiled eggs and cheeses. worth choosing this hotel.

A very pleasant modern hotel in an older building, very conveniently located for the railway station and Freiburg's historic city centre

A friendly traditional hotel near the main railway station in a quiet road. There was no problem leaving our bags when we arrived early. Reception helped carry our bags up to the 4th floor (no lift).

Just that there's no lift, though reception was helpful in doing the carrying. A little expensive compared with other hotels we stayed in with similar facilities and similar-sized room.
